How you do you know when you are cracking up? Simple, you walk into your doctor’s office for an annual check up, and start crying causing said doctor to spend two hours trying to calm you down. So that happened…for real. When I was adequately composed my doctor said to me in a very companionate way, to seek therapy. He told me that I was responding normally with an extraordinary situation. In addition to therapy he also suggested a journal because my story could really help people in my same situation. Though, I am confident that his suggestion was provided more as a way to help me expel the melancholy thoughts whirling around in my cranium than the benefit of humanity at large. I took his advice and here we are.
